Description

SO 82 NE LEIGH CHURCH LANE (north side) 3/75 Pensam monument, in the churchyard about 6m south-east of south-east corner of Church of St Catherine GV II Chest tomb. J. Pensam, died 1826. Stone. Central flower, on top weathered each way, with chain of leaves along arrises. Two steps to projecting lid, moulded edge; raised, rectangular panel to sides, ends wide, rectangular pilaster, raised panel on stem. Moulded base, plain step. Later inscriptions; good lettering. Tomb badly overgrown.
