Description

The Penning memorial is a chest tomb located about 30 meters east of the Church of St. Peter. It commemorates R. Penning, who died circa 1790, and his wife Anne, who died in 1797. The tomb is constructed of ashlar stone and features raised fielded panelled sides. The long sides are flanked by broad recessed pilasters that are bellied at their bases. The capping has a rounded edge and includes an inscription.
