Description
The dovecote, located 30 meters north of Manor Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century and is currently being converted into a dwelling. It is constructed of squared rubble and has a concrete tile roof. This tall, free-standing building features a cross-gabled design, an external staircase, and a small timber cross-gabled turret with a wing attached on the right side. The structure has three storeys on a plinth and includes one windowed front. The south facade displays two, three, and three-light hollow chamfer and rebate stone mullions with stopped drips. On the first floor, to the right, there is a plank door set under a 4-centred arch, which is also under a stopped drip that combines with a window drip at a slightly higher level. This door is accessed by nine very worn stone steps. Both the east and west fronts have an open oculus on the first floor. Inside, the ground floor features a deep bressummer fireplace and a chamfered beam. At the time of the survey, work to transform the building was in progress.
