Description

Nos 12 and 13 Orchard Street are a pair of mid-19th century cottages that form part of a terrace. The cottages are rendered and feature a slate roof. They are three stories tall, with each cottage having one window in a central group and doors located in the outer bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. The panelled doors differ slightly: No. 12 has fielded panels, while No. 13 has planted mouldings. Both cottages have square fanlights and cantilevered 'pagoda' hoods that were originally supported by moulded wooden posts.
