Description
Nos 6 and 7 Culverhay are a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. They are rendered with a stone slate roof and stand two storeys high, each featuring one window and a door to the right. No. 6 has a notable 19th-century broad sash window with glazing bars on the first floor, but it has a recent three-light window next to a modern door below. No. 7 has a two-light casement window with glazing bars above and a broad sash window below, which has six large panes, along with a modern glazed door. These cottages were constructed as a pair, and No. 7 is included mainly for its group value. Both cottages have gabled back projections, with No. 6 featuring pantiles on its back projection and main back roof slope.
