Description

The gates, piers, and walls at The Court date from the 18th century. They consist of two pairs of gate piers, wrought iron gates, and linking walls. The piers are made of ashlar and are approximately 7 feet 6 inches high, featuring moulded and weathered cappings above a fluted frieze. The wall, which is about 5 feet 6 inches high, runs for 125 feet between the wrought iron gates at either end. The walls are constructed from squared rubble with coping.
