Description

No. 5 Orchard Street is a mid-19th century cottage that is part of a pair in a terrace. The building features recently exposed roughly squared rubble with broad flat pointing and has a new profiled tile roof. It is three stories high and has one window, which is a new sash under the original wood lintels. The door is a new panelled design that does not match the original. Although it forms part of a group with No. 6, its facade has been treated differently. This cottage is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
