Description

The Church Hall to the Church of St Bartholomew is a mid-19th century building constructed from squared and coursed limestone, featuring ashlar quoins and stone slate roofs. It has a picturesque design, consisting of a parallel range block with a porch at the internal angle and a return block facing the street, topped with a lead-covered timber bell-cote. The building is two storeys high and includes various multi-light mullioned casements with pointed heads, all under drips and stops. There is a plank door set in a pointed arch leading to the porch. This church hall is a good example of its type and holds group value with the Church of St Bartholomew.
