Description
Nos 10 and 12 Tilsdown are two early 19th-century dwellings that form a terrace. No 10 features coursed squared stone and an asbestos cement slate roof. It is two storeys high with a wide two-window arrangement, including a corresponding blank panel at the centre of the first floor. The windows are two-light casements with two horizontal glazing bars and segmental stone heads. There is a central four-panel door, two of which are glazed, under an umbrella hood supported by light wood. To the left, there is a second door opening that has been blocked. At the back, there are very small square openings at the first floor under the eaves with leading.
No 12 is constructed of painted coursed and squared stone, raised in brick, and also has an asbestos cement slate roof. It is two storeys high with a two-window arrangement, featuring two-light casements with segmental heads on the first floor and flat wood lintels on the ground floor. A modern door is located on the right side.
Both cottages are set gable to the road and form a group with Nos 14, 16, and 18.
