Description
Nos 14 and 16 Tilsdown are a dwelling, originally two separate homes, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick with a stone slate roof that sweeps down at the rear. It features two brick chimneys, one centrally located and the other at the right gable. The structure is two storeys high and has a symmetrical façade with four windows, arranged as two sets of two-light casements, each with segmental heads on the ground floor. There are no doors visible on the street front, but a modern glazed door is located in the back lean-to. Inside, there is a collar roof supported by heavy purlins and a wide open fireplace on the ground floor, to the right. This building is included for its group value.
