Description

This is a late 18th-century detached dwelling house. The front is rendered, with squared and coursed stone gables and some brickwork to a rear extension. The roof is covered with concrete tiles, sloping down to the rear, and features gable stacks. The house has two storeys and an attic. It has three windows to the front, which are sash windows with glazing bars. A central door is made of six fielded panels and is partially glazed. A small two-light casement window is located in the right-hand gable, serving the attic space. The building is relatively unchanged from its original appearance, unlike many others in the surrounding area. It holds group value as a well-preserved example of 18th-century architecture.
