Description
No. 41 Parsonage Street is a shop located in Dursley, dating from the early 19th century, with a late 19th-century shop front and a rear wing. The front is finished in stucco, while the rear is rendered, and the brick rear wing features a brick chimney. The front roof slope is covered with Welsh slate, and the rear has pantiles. The building is two stories high with an attic, and the rear wing also has two stories with an extension.
The front facade has a single-window arrangement with 16-pane sash windows and a 19th-century shop front. There is a flat-roofed dormer featuring a 19th-century casement window. A chimney is mounted on the ridge. The rear includes a gabled wing with a 12-pane sash window on the upper floor and a casement in the attic. The later 19th-century wing has a mix of sash and casement windows. The interior has not been inspected, but the structure may date from an earlier period.
