Description
Nos 64 and 66 on Parsonage Street is a shop with flats above, dating from around 1830, featuring a 20th-century shop front. The building is constructed of Flemish bond red brick with ashlar dressings and has brick chimneys and a plain tile roof. It is three storeys tall, with a large flat-roofed wing at the rear that is not of special interest. The front of the building has a three-window arrangement above the shop front, all with stone voussoir lintels. There are two windows on each floor: the middle floor has 12-pane sash windows, the upper floor has 9-pane sash windows, and the windows on the left are 20th-century replacement casements. The building has ridge-mounted chimneys and is included for its group value.
