Description
Number 60 Burlingham House, including the attached cottage and gate piers, is a detached dwelling built around 1820. It features smooth render and a slate roof. The house is an attractive square structure with a hipped roof and wide overhanging eaves. The principal garden front has two storeys and three large sash windows with glazing bars set in deep reveals. The entrance front has one sash window with bars above a deep projecting stone Roman Doric porch, which supports two paired six-panel doors beneath a radial fanlight. To the right, there is an attached cottage that has a return to the gable on the street. The property is also marked by two pairs of stone gate piers with weathered and fluted cappings, one of which has a pair of wrought iron gates.
