Description

Nos 38 and 40 on Bradley Street are end of terrace dwellings dated 1784, although there has been 19th-century work to the windows and other features. The buildings are constructed from painted thin-bedded squared stone and have a plain tile roof. They are two storeys high, with the top windows positioned low beneath the eaves. The front has three windows, each featuring two-light casements with a transom. The glass is plain, but the top sub-lights are divided into small square panes with wooden glazing bars, all set beneath exposed wooden lintels. There are two modern doors at the entrance.
