Description
Ellfield House is a dwelling built in the early 19th century. It features rendered brickwork and is topped with asbestos cement slates. The building consists of a large detached parallel range with a lower extension, and the main garden front is accented by stone quoins. It is two storeys high and has three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars set within recessed openings that have stepped voussoirs. On the right side, there is a large square bay window from the late 19th century, which has three light-sashed openings. The central opening has new doors. Inside, there is a contemporary staircase with square balusters and a swept mahogany handrail.
