Description

Jubilee Clump is a wall, railings, and gate built in 1888. It is made of rubble with coping tiles and features cast iron railings and a gate. The circular wall varies in height, measuring about 7 feet in some parts and about 4 feet 6 inches in others, and includes a gate with a commemorative plaque from 1952. The structure encloses trees that were replanted in 1888 to replace those that were cut down in 1856. Jubilee Clump serves as an important visual landmark and viewpoint, commemorating Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887.
