Description
This is a group of three unidentified tombs located approximately 7 to 15 meters north of the sacristy at the Church of St John the Evangelist.
The first tomb is a lofty chest tomb from the mid-18th century made of limestone. It features reserved corners, a moulded top, and has a frieze and base with a cartouche on the west side and a circular raised panel on the east. The northern side has a circular panel decorated with guilloche and leaf motifs, while the southern side has a plain sunk rectangular panel. The inscriptions on this tomb are not legible.
The second tomb is a chest tomb from the early 18th century, also made of limestone. It has a very thick cyma top, and its base was not visible during the survey. This tomb features lyre ends with cartouches, with a cartouche and supporters on the north side and a sink moulded rectangular panel with carved drapes on the south side. The inscriptions are not legible.
The third tomb, which is the southernmost of the group, is another chest tomb from the early 18th century, made of limestone. It has a very thick cyma top, and its base was not visible at the time of the survey. This tomb features lyre ends, a cartouche with an open book on the east side, and a flanking urn on the west side. There are sunk panels with supporters on both the north and south sides.
