SO 80 SE BISLEY-WITH-LYPIATT MIDDLE LYPIATT

6/103 Barn approximately 8m south of Middle Lypiatt Farmhouse

Barn. Early C18. Random rubble limestone; stone slate roof. Four-bay barn with 2 porches; outshuts on south west side. Off- centre porch to each side, south west with weatherboardng incorporating loft casement above timber lintel. One outshut on south west side with corrugated iron roof; other with stone slate roof and rounded corner. Parapet gable with cross roll saddle to north west gable end; blocked loft opening; clock mounted above. Attached outbuilding to south east end. Interior: 4-bay collar and tie-beam truss roof. Forms part of group with Middle Lypiatt Farmhouse (q.v.) and Garden Cottage (q.v.).
