BISLEY-WITH-LYPIATT MIDDLE LYPIATT Garden Cottage

GV II

Small house attached to Middle Lypiatt Farmhouse (q.v.). Early-mid C18. Random rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic; T-plan. South west side: gable end projects forward to right with single-window 2-light chamfered mullioned casement fenestration, all leaded with hoodmoulds. Projecting stone shelf below attic casement. Large vehicle passageway with timber lintel in range to left; 2-light over. South east side: 3-light casement to ground floor, 2-light above, both with hoodmoulds. Lean-to to right with C20 casement having rendered lintel. Chimneys with chamfered caps to 2 gable ends. Interior not inspected.
