Description
Lovers Hall Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse that dates from the late 17th century, with an addition from the 18th century. It is built of random and coursed rubble limestone, featuring ashlar chimneys and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic.
The southeast front shows the original house on the right, which has two full gables and a two-window arrangement. All windows are two-light chamfered mullioned casements with hoodmoulds, except for one single-light window on the right. There is a central gabled porch addition with a plank door. To the left, there is an addition that includes 20th-century mullioned casements on both floors. The roof has two ridge-mounted chimneys with plain caps and a gabled roof dormer. The southwest end features 20th-century single-light casements, while the northeast end has 20th-century mullioned windows, with alterations noted on the rear wing. The rear of the farmhouse includes a central two-storey gabled wing, with a doorway to the right that has a hoodmould and a plank door. The interior has not been inspected.
