Description
The Farmyard Buildings at Park Farm are a large agricultural complex dating from the mid-19th century, possibly designed by Lewis Vulliamy. Constructed from coursed rubble stone, the buildings feature a Cotswold stone slate roof with sprocketed eaves. The layout is formal and U-shaped, comprising a central two-storey range flanked by single-storey wings. The central range includes a double-width square opening with a relieving arch and a square pitching hole above. The right wing originally housed stables, while the left wing contained animal shelters, though both are now used for various agricultural purposes. The right wing has a section of corrugated iron roofing, and the left wing is topped with five raised ridge tiles, likely for ventilation. The yard is divided into two sections by a long wall that runs across the front (south side) and extends from front to back on the left side of the two-storey range.
