Description

The building is a barn at Elmtree Farm, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof. The barn is divided into two parts; the left half is older and features a hipped cart entry, with a five-bay, two purlin structure. The right half is a later addition and has a lower Welsh slate roof. Additionally, to the east of the barn, there is a former cow house, which consists of eight bays supported by stone columns with wood caps. This structure now has an asbestos cement roof and is built from good local stone.
