Description

The Old Rectory is a detached house built in the mid to late 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension to the south. It features random coursed rubble stone and a Cotswold stone slate roof, along with one brick stack and four stone stacks, some made of ashlar with off-sets. The building has a T-plan layout with an additional cross-wing on the south side and stands two storeys tall.

The street-facing facade includes four windows, with two on the right that are 19th-century leaded three-light pointed arch windows, complete with square hoodmoulds and flush splayed sills. On the left, there are two three-light windows with smaller leaded panes and a central casement, all set beneath segmental stone arches on the ground floor. The first-floor windows have sills that take the form of hoodmoulds without stops.

On the north-facing side, there is a 19th-century door accessed by steps, and to the left, a single-storey canted bay from the early 19th century features five pointed lights with Gothick decorative leading, a plain frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The rest of this side has scattered fenestration, primarily consisting of segmental head leaded twin casements.
