Description
Tudor Cottage is a small detached cottage located on the east side of The Street in Frampton-on-Severn, likely dating from the 16th century. It features square panel timber-framing on a plinth, with painted brick infill and some plastered areas. The roof is partly covered with tiles and partly with concrete tiles, and it has a half-hipped design on the left side. There is a large external brick stack on the left return, with no stack present within the building. The returns have been partially rebuilt in brick. The cottage has a small L-shaped range with a jettied projecting gable on the left, and it is single storey with an attic. There is a small two-light gabled dormer on the main range and a 20th-century glazed door in the angle. The windows include 20th-century two and three-light casements. While the interior is not accessible, it is likely to be of interest.
