Description

Tulip Cottage is a small detached cottage located in Frampton-on-Severn, dating from the late 16th or early 17th century. It features square panel timber-framing set on a plinth, with painted brick infill and an interlocking tile roof. The cottage has a central brick chimney stack with double flues. It is a single rectangular range with one storey and an attic in the gable ends, following a lobby entry plan. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows flanking a late 19th or early 20th century gabled porch that has a plank door. At the time of the survey in December 1985, the cottage was shored up at both ends.
