Description
The churchyard wall with a gateway, located next to No 1, Market Square, dates from the 17th century. It is constructed from coursed dry-built squared limestone. The straight section of the wall includes a gateway and curves at the eastern end to connect with the corner of No 1, Market Square. The wall features battered masonry with weathered coping, which rises above the gateway that has a Tudor archway and a hoodmould. There is a 19th-century iron gate. The rubble walling to the west lacks coping and is not considered of special interest.
