WATLEDGE ROAD 1. 5227 (north-east side) Theescombe Retaining walls, garden walls and gate piers to Dunkirk Manor fronting road SO 8400 5/157 II GV

  1. Circa 1800. Coursed drystone wall; acts as retaining wall to north, curves round to west and is ramped up as garden wall to about 4 ft 6 ins high. Ramped up again to gate piers with moulded capping and slight scroll-top breaks for hinges.
