Description

The retaining walls, garden walls, and gate piers to Dunkirk Manor, located on Watledge Road in Theescombe, date from around 1800. The structure features a coursed drystone wall that serves as a retaining wall on the north side. It curves around to the west and rises as a garden wall to a height of about 4 feet 6 inches. The wall ramps up again to the gate piers, which have moulded capping and slight scroll-top breaks for hinges.
