Description
The Court House, located on Watledge Road, is an early 18th-century garden pavilion built from ashlar stone. It features a classical front and stands two storeys high on a rusticated base. The building is topped with a hipped slate roof and has a modillion cornice along with a blocking course. The façade is adorned with two Ionic pilasters and originally included a Venetian window, which has been reduced to small casements, with a blocked door beneath it. Access to the building is now from the south. The north side has a two-light mullion window and a blind balustrade with dove holes at the front.
