Description
Number 3 (Meadowside) and Number 5 are dwellings located on Holywell Road in Wotton-under-Edge, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. The buildings are constructed from rubble, with Number 3 featuring squared and coursed stone and a stone slate roof. This long, narrow property has lean-to extensions on the front.
Number 3 is two storeys high with a two-windowed facade, featuring modern casements beneath flat segmental heads and a new door in the lean-to. Number 5 is 2½ storeys tall with a five-windowed facade. The first floor has sashes with glazing bars, while the ground floor includes two centrally located sashes with bars and a new door beneath a two-pane transom light. There is also a large 19th-century sash window, all of which are set under wood lintels. Additionally, Number 5 has two small dormers with two-light casements and a lean-to with a modern door facing the road.
