Description
Holywell Cottage is a detached dwelling dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of rubble, with the gable and street facades painted, and features a stone slate roof. The right end of the building is hipped, and there is a canted corner with a corbelled corner above. A brick stack is located off-center to the right.
The main facade, which faces the garden, is two storeys high and has a ground floor with four windows. This includes a bow window with three 3-light casements and two 2-light casements, along with a central panelled door. The first floor features three 3-light casements, all set beneath wooden lintels. The gable end has a 2-light casement in the roof space and additional 2-light and 1-light windows below. The road elevation displays various casements and three blocked openings at the ground floor.
