Description
No. 7 Coombe Road is a dwelling that was formerly an inn, dating from the early 19th century. The building is rendered and features smooth corner pilaster strips and a concrete tile roof. The main block is set forward of the adjacent property, No. 5, and includes a one-storey back extension raised on piers. It has three storeys plus a basement, which is at ground level at the rear. The front has three original sash windows with glazing bars and segmental heads at the ground and first floors. Centrally located are double 19th-century glazed doors with a flat raised surround. On the right side, there are two sash windows similar to those on the main front, while the back has small sashes under segmental brick arches, all set in painted rubble. To the left, there is a late wing that is two storeys high with a Welsh slate roof.
