Description

Baden House is an 18th-century dwelling located on Haw Street in Wotton-under-Edge. The building is rendered and features a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys tall, with dormers, and has three windows on the upper floor. The upper floor windows are sashes with bars in the hipped dormers, while there are two double sashes and one single sash without bars on the first floor. The ground floor includes a recent hexagonal bay and one double sash window. The entrance features a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight to the left, and a central six-panel door that is mainly new glazed, also with a rectangular fanlight above. These elements are framed by a plat-band surround with a simple closed pediment supported by small consoles.
