Description

Two gazebos, probably from the 18th century, are located at The Cottage and Court Garden Cottage. They are constructed from limestone rubble and feature stone slate roofs. These square buildings are situated immediately behind the wall that borders the street. Each gazebo has a pyramidal roof topped with a ball finial and includes a single door. The gazebo at The Cottage also has a square planked access opening on the street side, approximately 1 meter above pavement level. These structures were likely originally part of the garden design for the nearby Court House and are positioned about 30 meters apart, aligned with the east front of the Court House.
