Description

PAINSWICK VICTORIA STREET SO 8609 (part) (south side) 8/380 Gate pier attached to St Mary's Cottage II Half-pier attached to house. Probably 1748, by John Bryan. Limestone ashlar. Squared plan to moulded capping which carries a lion holding a shield. Part of the enclosure detail to the churchyard to St Mary (q.v.).
