Description
Zion Chapel is a small chapel dated 1846, constructed from coursed rubblestone and featuring a hipped slate roof. The front facade includes two small round-headed windows with stone voussoirs and interlaced tracery, and a stone tablet inscribed "ZION CHAPEL/1846" positioned above the central original panelled door, which is accessed by five stone steps. There are also two long round-headed windows with interlaced tracery on the side walls. At the rear, there is a single-storey brick extension that has two round windows on the south side. Although the interior was not inspected, it is partially visible through a keyhole and appears to contain original pews and a raised east end dais with a rail and table.
