Description
The monument to LRB and CWB is located in the churchyard of the Church of St John, positioned in the corner between the south transept and the sanctuary. This structure, which is Grade II listed, takes the form of a large natural rock that features the inscription 'CWB ob 1863' above 'LRB ob 1862'. The rock is enclosed by spear-head cast iron railings, which rest on a sandstone base that returns to the walls of the sanctuary and south transept.
