Description
The monument to ...M Wade is a chest tomb located about 2 metres south of the nave wall of the Church of St Mary Magdalen. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a chamfered edge, quarter balusters, plain panels, and a chamfered base. It bears an inscription commemorating ...M Wade, who passed away in 1808. At the time of the survey in November 1983, the monument was overgrown with ivy. This tomb is the westernmost of a group of three that are situated close to the nave wall.
