Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard about 11 metres south of the nave of the Church of St Mary Magdalen. It dates from the mid-17th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a cyma mould edge and plain panels. At the time of the survey in November 1983, the base was sunken. Although the names on the tomb are not decipherable, the date 1751 is still legible. The monument is situated approximately 3 metres southeast of the Dinah Man monument and is one of three tombs aligned in an east-west direction.
