Description

This barn, dating from the 18th century, is located at the north end of Church Farmhouse and is attached to Humphrey's Lodge. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a double Roman tile roof, with three courses of stone slates along the eaves on the north slope. The barn has an A-plan gable design and includes a lean-to addition at the east end facing the road. There is a swept-down roof leading to a cast entry, along with a stone slate-roofed extension on the south side that has a staircase approach. The north side of the barn features full-height cart doors, and to the left, there is an opening with a wood lintel above a door. The interior has not been inspected.
