Description

Hillside is a dwelling and former shop dating from the mid-19th century. The building has a rough rendered exterior and an asbestos cement slate roof. It stands three storeys high and features two-windowed sashes with glazing bars on the second floor, one sash without bars on the right at the first floor, and a canted bay on the left with sashes without bars. The late 19th-century shop front is notable for its four-light design with arched heads in the bay, and it includes a two-panel door on the right set within a heavy stone doorcase.
