Description

The Cottage is a dwelling dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of painted rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. This small property consists of two sections. The left half has a timber-framed wall at the back with a 4-light casement window and a large chimney stack. Facing the street, the left side is 1½ storeys high with one window, a 2-light casement, and a small dormer. The right side is 2 storeys high, with one window featuring a small bow and a 2-light casement, along with a stable-type door. Although it has been modified, this property holds historical significance and serves as an important visual stop in the row of buildings along Church Square.
