Dwelling, formerly coaching house. C16 and later extensions or modifications. Timber framed close-set studding in back wing and in rebuilt gable to south- west, south-east-entrance-wing painted squared rubble, Welsh slate roofs. T-shaped plan, with C18 wing attached also at right angles to south-east front. Staircase in internal corner between north-east and north-west wings rises to gable. Stacks to south-west and north-west gables. Entrance front two storeys, 3-windowed, broad casements, and 12-light oak mullioned over central 6-panel door with transome light, in heavy but simple frame, and approached by 3 steps in semi-circle; C18 return wing, right. South-west elevation, to garden: wing, left, with rebuilt timber-framed gable; principal wing, right three storeys, 2-windowed, set wide on either side of internal stack, 1, 2 or 3-light casements with oak mullions all with simple stopped drips, rendered; bottom right opening, formerly 3-light, retaining drip, now small 2-light. Interior contains much heavy framing, and two-flight newel stair with octagonal newel.
