Description
Manchester House is a detached dwelling built in the late 18th century. It features squared, coursed, and dressed stone with a modillion parapet cornice and a Welsh slate roof, complemented by two stone stacks. The building stands three storeys tall with a basement and has a three-windowed façade, showcasing sashes with glazing bars set in flat stone architraves. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door topped with a fanlight, framed by a pilaster and pediment doorcase. At the rear, there is a large arched window that serves the staircase. Inside, the contemporary stair runs through the full height of the building and is adorned with stick balusters. The ground floor includes an elliptical arched opening flanked by fluted pilasters and features contemporary panelled doors.
