Description

The Cider House is an early 19th-century apple store and cider mill located at the junction of The Hitchings and the lane to the rear, built into a hillside. It is a small two-storey structure constructed of rubble with a Welsh slate roof, featuring a row of stone slabs at the eaves on each side. The gable facing The Hitchings has a blocked door with a rounded corner that is corbelled over, and there is a second entrance at the top level on the left. It is reputed to contain a stone cider press in situ.
