Description

The Primitive Methodist Chapel, built in 1874, is a small one-bay structure made of cut squared sandstone with a Welsh slate roof. It features an entrance porch and a lean-to room at the opposite end. The main front has two round-headed sash windows with glazing bars, set in flat stone surrounds with keystones, and a plaque above reading 'FAIR VIEW. DMC. 1874'. Each flank of the chapel has one large sash window similar to those at the front. Inside, there is a flat ceiling. Although modest in size, this building serves as an important reminder of the former semi-industrial community on Blakeney Hill.
