Description
Lydbrook House is an early 19th-century brick house with a hipped slate roof and two brick stacks at the rear. It consists of a single range with a two-storey outshut at the back and an extension to the right. The house has three storeys and a cellar, featuring three windows, one of which belongs to the two-storey extension. The windows are 16-pane sash with glazing bars and have brick voussoirs above them. A modillion cornice runs along the top. The central entrance has a panelled door with an elaborate tracery fanlight, set beneath a decorative wooden porch supported by two small fluted columns. Access to the door is via four stone steps. There is an adjoining malthouse to the left of the house.
