Description

Viaduct House is an early 19th-century house located in Lower Lydbrook. It features a brick front with rendered sides and a double range slate roof, along with four brick end stacks. The house stands three storeys tall and has three windows, which are 16-pane sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, the right side has a cant bay window with plain sashes. The central entrance is marked by a door with a broken pedimented doorcase supported by fluted pilasters, and it features a fielded six-panel door topped with a decorative semi-circular fanlight. The original lion knocker remains in place. This building is included for its group value with Lydbrook House.
