Description
Thorganby House is an early 19th-century house constructed of brown brick, featuring a hipped slate roof with stone coping, two ridge stacks, and two additional stacks at the rear. The building is two stories high and has a three-bay south front, which includes three windows with plain sashes and segmental heads, along with three more windows above. The doorway is located in the east return within a brick porch and has irregular fenestration. The west return features a deep-set doorway with a segmental head and a partially glazed door, accompanied by a single fixed light to the left that has a glazing bar sash with a segmental head beyond it. Above the door, there is a round-headed staircase window with two glazing bar sashes that also have segmental heads to the left. A 20th-century greenhouse is situated to the right of the house.
