Description

The Old Rectory is a building that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 17th century, with early 19th-century and 20th-century alterations. The east front is made of painted brick, while the rear is constructed from painted rubble. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, featuring pronounced overhanging eaves and a central ridge stack. The 19th-century east front has two storeys and three irregular bays, with three glazing bar sash windows on the ground floor and three similar windows above. The south wall, which is from the 17th century, is made of rubble and has irregular 19th-century window arrangements, including a sash and a casement on the ground floor, a casement staircase window, and a sliding sash on the first floor. There is a 20th-century extension and entrance on the north side.
